Natural Rubber is produced from the Latex – the milky juice of the Hevea Brasiliensis – meaning – Weeping Wood – Rubber Tree in a form of raw rubber. Natural Rubber is harvested as latex – a natural source of isoprene, called Caoutchouc or India Rubber – which is dried out from commercial processing. This dried out from natural rubber is the chemical polyisoprene – also known as 2-methylbuta-1, 3-diene with the chemical formula (C5H8) n.
